Home Turf began in 2011. Daniel Flood and myself co-directed four interlocking contemporary performance works spanning geographically diverse communities - Chinchilla, Dalby, Tara and Miles, culminating in a major performance bringing each community group together at the Chinchilla Cultural Centre.
Over 100 high school students form the Surat Basin explored the question: "Should I stay or should I go?" through theatre, dance and technology. 6 facilitating artists worked on the project over a 9 week period.
Then in 2014 Daniel and myself consulted/produced the second La Boite Home Turf. Here is the documentary for Home Turf 2014
I worked with 90 participants from years 3 & 4 in Deception Bay to create an interactive promenade performance. It was in partnership with DBCYP and an Arts QLD AIR grant. I created along with 4 classes, 4 site -specific performance pieces around the school that were experienced by the community as an interactive promenade performance. Audience members were asked to participate at different times and be directly involved in our performance. We had a surprisingly huge community turn out. A wonderful community celebration!

I founded playsit.co in San Francisco (2014-16)- a co-operative family care share platform. I evaluated and researched the concept, brought the team together and directed the creation of the product starting with a very manual process through to managing the development of the software product. I have seen that when children come together in creative ways they learn more and are happier and parents get time to socialise and are happier. It has grown and expanded in a short time and has had many partners (technology, venue and commercial).
