home turf

Home Turf began in 2011. Daniel Flood and myself were commissioned by LaBoite Theatre Company for our concept.

We co-directed four interlocking contemporary performance works spanning geographically diverse communities - Chinchilla, Dalby, Tara and Miles, culminating in a major performance bringing each community group together in co-located performances. We live streamed the devised interlocking performances between these four regional communities. These co-located performances were epic and incredible. We then brought everyone together at the Chinchilla Cultural Centre.

Over 100 high school students form the Surat Basin explored the question: "Should I stay or should I go?" through theatre, dance and technology. 6 facilitating artists worked on the project over a 9 week period.

Then in 2014 Daniel and myself consulted/produced the second La Boite Home Turf. Here is the documentary for Home Turf 2014
